Endovenous Ablation

A Fast, Minimally Invasive Procedure

Endovenous Ablation is a quick, minimally invasive laser procedure that leaves no scar and can be done on an outpatient basis in our offices.

Endovenous Ablation therapy uses heat to destroy vein tissue. A thin catheter (or tube) is inserted into the vein through a tiny skin incision.  Then, using laser energy, the vein is heated and cauterized, which closes off the vein.

The treatment takes less than one hour, using local anesthesia. After the procedure, the patient can resume most daily activities.

This approach is very effective. Postoperative studies show that Endovenous Ablation has a 98 percent success rate and excellent long-term results.
